"Oh, um." Jack blinks once, then decides he might have to recontextualize just how much he knows about Serph. Which wasn't that much, to begin with. "It's an animal. They come in a lot of shapes and sizes. They usually have a kind of muzzle with teeth, fur, tails that wag when they're excited... they're raised to be companions to people. Sometimes for hunting or following scents or helping take care of sheep-- um, other animals, with wool that you can use to make clothes." He sketches the shapes of both dogs and sheep as he speaks, waving his hands, and the half-full bag of cookie crumbs.
