A jolt of interest strikes him. Robots are one thing, but mystic shrines, galactic wars...
Concepts familiar to him in the pages of novels and on TV screens, but this is decidedly neither of those things.]
A war on such a scale must have been hell to live through. Where I'm from, wars between
countries
are devastating enough.
[He hasn't directly experienced them, only through press coverage. Does that mean this robot is a veteran?]
