Jack looks delighted. He's found something Serph will eat! He readily slices up the rest of the not-rabbit into manageable pieces, for a normal human type person, and hands over the plate, so Serph can eat as he likes, but without having to actively tear the creature apart with his teeth and hands alone.

"I'm going to have to set more snares," he comments, but he's smiling as he says it.
