His legs pulled up towards his chest, Donnie looks out the windshield at the bleak landscape. He doesn't look over at Leo even though he hears him moving.
The names are all familiar to him. He's met quite a few people since he'd gotten here, a lot of them who have probably been here just as long as Leo. Donnie wouldn't be able to turn his back on anyone no matter how mentally and emotionally exhausted he is. He squeezes his eyes shut, stiffling something that sounds much too close to a sob to to his own ears. Slowly he lifts his head, looking at Leo finally.
"...I know..."
He's so tired of everything.
"I know."
But he won't give up. He can't give up.
It still takes some effort, but he's trying. He won't give up, for Leo. Slowly, he reaches a hand out to take his brother's hand.
