On their own, it seems. But M-Bot is lingering rather than wandering off or having the appearance of leading him somewhere, so it seems there's no urgency today. It's strange to not be pressed for time and being able to linger on locations with no real hurry besides to catch up with the Convoy before the night grows too long.
