"I come from a place currently known as the Capital Wasteland. It used to be called Washington DC before the bombs fell," she explained after a few minutes of silence while she did her best to maintain control of the old truck.

"The engine of a rusted out Corvega is nuclear powered. The right shot and it blows. No one alive currently knows how to fix the things and the wasteland is a dangerous place," she explained. "It has been over 200 years since everything went to hell."
