Better to be skeptical than overly idealistic.
[Idealism gets you hurt, in the end. It leaves one soft, vulnerable, and foolish.
Though Akechi pauses momentarily to watch Zero's attacks, he continues along in short order. The saber rings... nostalgic for him, though.
He always did like the concept of beam swords.]
