At least Serph has a gun so he could cover Sephiroth if needed, though it's merely a pistol, a sidearm at best. Strange then, that most of the wounds on the monsters are clearly from a sharp melee weapon, or as though torn apart by an animal.

Serph's gaze lingers on the statues. He hadn't thought twice about shooting through the head in order to retrieve the pistol and fend off attack in one fell swoop, but the shattered skull does look a bit disconcerting.

"Green things...?" He tilts his head in query.
