There is a lot of damage, but a lot of it should be fixable, he thinks. Lots of injured and disoriented people. Physical damage to the vehicles but probably not anything to keep them from moving, at least not as far as he can tell. He has no idea what to make of the thing that powers the shields, though. For all he knows it might be magic.
