[Leo thinks about the Shredder, and how he used to be a Hamato. That hadn't stopped them, at the time; if anything it had only spurred them on.

But then he thinks about Raph, when he'd been fully turned by the Krang, when he'd been trying to kill Leo himself. Leo had never once considered "putting him down". That simply hadn't been on the list of options.

So yeah. Maybe not.]

Uh... it's kinda embarrassing to describe. [He says this with the self-consciousness of youth, rubbing at the back of his head.] I guess it's just... they're always there. And I know that sounds like a bad thing, because sometimes they know exactly what buttons to push, and I think I want to kill them. But there's nothing they could do to make me not love them, and nothing I could do to make them stop loving me, either.

[He thinks about when he really didn't think he deserved that kind of love, and his family gave it to him anyway. Donnie saying we saved you, ripped apart time and space to get Leo back.]

So yeah, I guess that's what it's like. Just... knowing someone's always going to have your back, and you'll have theirs.
