"The last time I got doused with water I ended up half snake," Donnie grumbles. "Doesn't seem like anything's happening this time around. Wonder how this whole business even works. Is it just a big old roulette wheel? Or is it something to do with just how we individually respond?"

He still doesn't quite trust it, but they don't seem to have much choice in avoiding the water here if they want to find what they're supposed to.
