That just makes Donnie self-conscious, glancing down at his own lower half, still with legs thankfully, but he has a feeling they're starting to change again, and he's not sure he likes the slow burn any better than the abrupt shifts.

Best to be thankful he's still mostly himself, so far as he's aware.

It's even darker on the other side of that door, but he doesn't seem to notice. It doesn't look like much of a room though, but that's only because it leads into a flooded stairwell. Which is why Donnie ends up going under again, taking another misstep.
