Akechi follows along, ears flicking and swiveling with the subtle shifts in sound from the steam. That's one benefit to his changes, at least; a cat's hearing unveils far more than the eyes can see.

Though, his eyes remain fixed on the coming and going steam, and he times his movements with careful precision... or as much as he can manage with changes he's unaccustomed to.
