He's thinking about sneaking a fish but he won't actually do it, he's not sure what to do with a fish. They LOOK like tiny, irrelevant demons one normally eats like quick easy snacks, but apparently they need to be cooked or whatever and he's not sure if that means they're toxic if they're eaten wiggling.

But the wiggling is very, very distracting.

Patience isn't really his strong suit either but curiosity wins out over impatience, and he's going to wait and see if anything ever actually bites that hook. "So what do you do while you're just. Sitting there? Stare at the water?"
