Yang stares up at the sky as Akechi talks. Don't worry about it. Do what you normally would, and don't think too hard about the why of it. You'll just drive yourself crazy. Well, case in point.

"Honestly, a part of me sees the appeal of it. You know...this is gonna sound crazy, but screw it." She rolls over onto her side to face Akechi.

"I think I dreamed last month about a past life where we were together, or...wanted to be, I guess. It didn't happen." The Soldier—Yang's previous(?) self, something she feels in her bones to be true— died. And the Princess soon after, as Blake had informed her. "I watched a guy I'm pretty sure was me die." Akechi is the first person she's told about this, besides Sephiroth, who was there with her. It still feels weird to flat out admit, even though Yang knows reincarnation is possible on Remnant, but she's thought just in Ozpin's case.

"Don't know if anyone else got the past life treatment or if I'm just special." She flashes Akechi a wry grin. "And I got in my head about it."
