[Jack had been fishing for food, which was sensible. The idea of doing it for
fun
is a strange one though.
Heat can understand playing with a kill a little. Adrenaline and fear can make the taste so much better. But if nobody was going to eat it..]
What do they do with it if they don't eat it? That sounds stupidly wasteful.
[Obviously they still kill them, so something has to happen to their scaly little bodies.]
